I am looking for a movie, but can't remember the name, the actors, or the year it was made.  It is about a girl who receives her mother's or grandmother's earrings and recipes when she dies.  She loves to cook, but finds that the only time she can really make the recipes come alive is when she wears the earrings while making the recipes.  Everyone who eats her food feels the emotions that she feels when she makes the food. 

I think the movie is Simply Irresistible with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
