This sequel was nowhere near the quality of the first. I wonder if they chose the actors for their resemblance to Robert Duvall and others from Lonesome Dove, rather than for acting ability? Or maybe the story just wasn't as dramatic as the first -- it certainly wasn't as broad or as deep in scope.

Well, we're still waiting for that next really good western!
