Discussion Forums - Science Fiction

Hi... I'm super new to swapadvd.  I still dont know how everything works...like how often do people swap dvd's, etc.  I'm still too nervous to use my one credit given for posting 10+ movies.. So figured I would post this to hopefully find a movie from way back.

But anyways... I remember this Sci Fi movie as a kid and the only scene I can remember is near the end, where they are traveling on a space ship, like on warp speed trying to get away and they are aging quickly due to the speed/timewarp/something.  A second spaceship connects to them to overtake them and starts to send robots to attack them, as do the people trying to get away.  But they are aging(Its a while man, a black man with a fro, and a woman) and when they are close to being overtaken by the other ship, during the time warp, the lady has a baby and he grows up to a young man and helps fight off the robots from the other ship.

I'd like to say its an 80's movie, possibly 70's.

Any super smart movie buff's out there know of it?
