I have a dvd that my sister wrote her name on it when we were kids... Its a sharpie so not coming off.

Am I still able to post this if everything else is good.... Good case, plays perfectly... just has her name written on the dvd.

Yes - I've received DVDs with writing on them. Former rentals sometimes have a sticker around the hub with the stores name. Both are postable.

Just as a point of interest, on smooth glossy surfaces, Sharpie marks can usually be removed with another Sharpie and a tissue.
Rub the sharpie over the old mark and the solvents in the pen liquify the old marks, which you can then wipe away.
